Hi, I’m Kate.
I fell in love with design when working on my high school newspaper. When I realized the power of putting words and images together to tell stories that matter, I was hooked.
I pursued my interest in storytelling at Carnegie Mellon University, where I got my BFA in Communication Design and minor in Professional Writing. I picked up lots of fun skills, but above all, I learned to think critically about the world and care about people.
I’m now working as a designer at Dropbox, where I thrive in strategic and collaborative environments. I’ve also been working on a passion project called Ladies Get Loud that amplifies the voices of women in design.
I’d love to work on more projects related to journalism, gender equality, culture, health, and politics. Have ideas? Reach out!
