Ladies Get Loud

Ladies Get Loud is an initiative I started to amplify women in design. Tensions is a zine born out of Ladies Get Loud that raises questions like, When do you speak out versus hold back? How do you act when no one else looks like you? and How many emoji are acceptable in a work email? Through interviews with female designers in tech, Tensions explores diverse ways women experience and deal with conflicting expectations.

To celebrate the launch of the zine, I hosted events with the design communities in New York, San Francisco, and Tel Aviv. During the events, I interviewed the women featured in the zine and asked the attendees to reflect on their own tensions at work.
